Teknik XP SP3 v2 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by TugurL. It released on February 12, 2011, and was added to the archive on August 11, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPacks BASE 10.06 integrated. It does not have much to offer other than new updates and plentiful visual changes. It comes with registry tweaks.

It reuses some assets from the author's previous bootleg, Windows X2010.

It is unattended and preactivated. The ISO was made using nLite.

Changes from Windows XP SP3

Minor changes

  • The text-mode setup OS text is changed to "TeknikXP SP3", and then at the partition screen it changes to "Teknik XP".
  • The System Properties has been changed. The Run dialog now has a banner. The Winver dialog now has a new banner which says Windows X2010 on it.

Notes

Bootleg quirks

  • There is thumbnail cache in system32, which contains oemlogo.bmp which is a picture of a Core 2 Quad. It is nonexistent outside of the cache.
  • Unlike a lot of foreign Windows bootlegs, there is an English language layout.
