Bootleg quirks

  • There is a small blank window that opens up at the top left corner of the screen. It cannot be closed by normal means, but you can minimize it to get rid of it.
  • The version number in the bootleg is reported as "888".
  • There is a copy of Foobar2000 v1.0.3 and BoxMan 1.0, but it is hidden away in /usr/share/lucky8kveket. It, along with the reason why, is explained in the Getting Started document (which is located in /root/my-documents) which you have the choice to open when you first start Veket Linux.
  • There are bookmarks to the Lucky8k site included in SeaMonkey.
  • The SeaMonkey homepage goes to "http://www.lucky8k.com" by default.
