Windows 2000 Personal is a bootleg of Windows 2000 SP4, which was created by miyako. It released on February 2, 2020, and was added to the archive in December 2022.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows 2000 SP4 ISO. Windows 2000 Personal is another mockup proposed as a home user edition similar to Windows ME, including most of its software bar system utilities like System Restore.

It comes with its own custom wallpaper, but is not set by default.

An update was planned that would add Plus! 95/98 themes among other things, which was canned and miyako went inactive shortly after.

It is preactivated. The ISO was made using nLite 1.4.9.3.
