Windows 7 Leshiy is a bootleg Windows 7 SP1 edition, which was created by Leshiy. It released on September 28, 2012, and was added to the archive on September 6, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 SP1 ISO. It comes with 20 new themes, 57 new wallpapers, icons set and a cursors set, new sound pack, along with some new programs. It comes with 87 updates, and it even includes games.

On the first boot of the setup, it launches a preloaded tool called "RunME", which let you either launch the setup, go to the Windows Recovery or access portable applications. This includes Acronis Tools, Paragon Tools and antivirus utilities. These apps are all Russian. You can also change the screen resolution all the way to 1600x1200 through RunME.

During the OOBE, it starts installing software, and on the first boot of the OS, an activator will be ran and will start rebooting after 50 seconds has passed.

It is partially unattended and preactivated.

Bootleg quirks

During the setup's boot screen, it switches to the Windows Vista's bootscreen.

There are 2 documents on the desktop, the first one is named "!!!Требуется!!!" (!!!Required!!!), which it means that it requires moderators, while the other one, "Совет" (Advice), which it advises to not install an update that ends with 033 on any build
