Windows Genius XP is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Gamal Gooad. It released on March 11, 2015, and was added to the archive on January 3, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPack version 12.09 integrated. It comes with many themes and wallpapers, and programs. It is unattended and preactivated.

The bootleg was made using nLite and Windows Unattended CD Creator 0.9.8.

Minor changes

Many of the applets and system dialogs have been modified to look like Windows 7.
Plenty of system strings have been modified, for example "New Folder" when you make a new folder will now say "GENIUS".
The text-mode setup OS text is changed

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

New setup graphics. The setup screen has been changed entirely to an orange background with a window showing the logo and titled as "WINDOWS GENIUS XP". It also has its own tagline saying, "Genius software and computer science"
New boot graphics
New pre-OOBE graphics. It is changed to show the Windows 7 logo, which has the text "WELCOME GENIUS" written on it
New login graphics
