Windows Leo Xp Sp3 is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by amc. It released on June 11, 2008, and was added to the archive on April 6, 2024.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPacks BASE 8.05, OnePiece IE7 Update Pack 2.1.1, Kels' CPL Bonus Pack 8.2.5 and DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime AddOn 0.4.0 integrated.

It is themed after Mac OS X Snow Leopard, as you can tell from the name. It comes with many wallpapers. It comes with many updates, and hotfixes. It comes with registry tweaks.

It is unattended and preactivated. The bootleg was made using nLite 1.4.5 on Windows XP SP3.

Bootleg quirks

There's been a lot of documentation added to the OS. There is now a readme file and a collection of registry tweaks (including eXPerience's tweaks) on the desktop. Here's the README file (mind the misspellings):


1. If your machine si slow, deactivate Yzshadow on taskbar (near clock) and delete shortcut in "Startup" Folder on Start/All Programs. Can activate it again from Program Files if you want it again


2. Taskbar is default unlocked, so can immediately move it (by draging with mouse) on the top of the screen for MAC look :)



3. If you have problems with predetermined look of the RocketDock do the following:

- Close RocketDock
- Go in Program Files/Rocket Dock and delete Settings.ini file
- Run RocketDock again and on Dock Settings mark "Store Settings in a Portable INI"
Finished. Now it has your own personal settings and can change shortcuts, icons and skins

You can also configure Stack icon (Icon with the arrow on it) on RocketDock
The same procedure as above, only the "Settings.ini" file is in /Program Files/Rocket Dock/Docklets 
Rightclick on Stack Icon and on Icon Settings configure the folder and the look (on "mode")

The Command Prompt foreground color is set to lime green.
Calculator Plus is in Classic View by default.
The taskbar is unlocked by default.

CD contents and other info

There is a text file on the CD root named "CD KEY.txt". The contents of the file is taken from the last session user file.
The autorun has been removed.
The CD label is set to "WinLite".

WINNT.SIF metadata

The full name and organization is set to "home" and "homeorg".
The computer name is set to "HOME".
The workgroup name is set to "homegroup".
