Windows XP Titan Ultimate Edition (version 2.4.0.1064) (also known as WinTuEdition for short) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Dexter. It released on August 25, 2009, and was added to the archive on June 4, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPacks version 901r3. It does not have much to it, it just has 14 wallpapers and some software, some minor changes here and there and some updates. But on the CD side of things, that's a different story.

On the first boot of the OS, there is a RunOnce segment with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 SP3. Then, a welcome dialog (the autorun) will pop up and you will get the choice to either install extra programs, visit the official Windows Titan website, view about information for this bootleg or close the box.

It comes with a program installer called PIA (Programa de Instalación Automatizado) version 1.2.0.658. Only about 13 programs out of the 98 programs are checked.

It comes with its own autorun. It operates as described earlier. You can also view which countries have installed and used Windows XP Titan Ultimate Edition.

It is unattended and preactivated. The bootleg was made using nLite 1.4.9.1, and the autorun was made from scratch in Visual Basic .NET. The ISO was touched up with UltraISO 9.3.3.2685.

WPI/PIA

The PIA may show a "This program has stopped working" popup but you can easily ignore it and the PIA will continue functioning normally.
Nero and Ad-Aware comes with an expired serial key.
AutoPlay Media Studio 7.5 does not have a serial key supplied, despite the installer requiring it in order to proceed.
Most of the SFX'es with automation (AutoItv3 scripts) triggers avast! Antivirus, one of the default WPI programs. This is probably due to the automated executables being packed with UPX.
Diskeeper 2009 13.0.835 outright doesn't work.
There are 4 unused programs: OEM Logo, WinRAR 100 themes (actually 40 themes), a Winamp skin collection (97 skins, including variants) and a CORE keygen for PhotoFiltre Studio X 10.0.0 by KaiZer SoZe.
