Windows XP Vienna Edition (a.k.a Windows Vista X, not to be confused with Windows Vienna) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by haiter. It released on August 18, 2008, and was added to the archive on August 3, 2022.

It is popular due to it being featured twice on Michael MJD's channel.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 with Aero interface elements. It comes with another interface known as the Vienna Dock which allows users to open programs without the Start menu.

It is unattended and preactivated.

• The General tab in System Properties has been completely redesigned.

Notes

CD contents and other info

• The CD label is "Xp-Windows7". (Windows 7 was not released until 2009; however, this might be related to the misconception regarding the "Vienna" codename, which was the original plan for Windows Vista's successor before it was replaced with the final Windows 7 project in 2007).
• The CD label has its own autorun.
