Windows 10 Halloween 2015 is a bootleg Windows 10 RTM edition, which was created by zorro48 of TeamOS. It was released on September 25, 2015, and was added to the archive on April 6, 2024.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 10 RTM ISO. It is themed after Halloween. It comes with many programs and gadgets.
During the OOBE, SetupComplete.cmd will run which will perform the following:
- Change the OS description to "TeamOS 10 Professional x64 Halloween 2015" with BCDEdit
- Apply the RunOnce.reg registry tweaks script
- Initialize RunOnceEx, which will do the following actions:
- Change the theme to Halloween 2015
- Install Desktop Gadgets Revived Ex 1.0 silently (a command line argument is passed to it which is spelled wrong ("/supressmsgboxes"))
- Attempt to locate a WPI automatically and run it if it exists (this can be any WPI from any source)
- Run "runonce.cmd", which will do the following:
- Copy over its Themes folder to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
- Copy the Graveyard Party Screensaver and HalloDock shortcuts to the user's Desktop
- Cleanup by deleting the Setup\Scripts directory
- Kill CMD
- Exit
Changes from Windows 10 RTM
Changes done by RunOnce.reg script
- Add the User folder, This PC and Control Panel back to the desktop. This goes for HKCU and HKLM
- Delete any previous runas entries for files/directories/DLLs/drives. Add a "Take Ownership" menu item which requires administrator access to all file/directory/DLLs/drive context menus
There is a commented out entry to run the script using Wow6432Node(?)'s RunOnce key.
Changes in pre-desktop procedures
- The setup OS text has been changed to "TeamOS Halloween"
- New setup graphics. The setup window is changed in the start, but is stock afterwards. The text at the bottom of the progress bar is gone.
Look and feel
- New default wallpaper
- 4 new themes included, but they just have wallpapers and do not have any visual styles. Although the Eerie Autumn and halloween themes have sound schemes.
- New icon set
- New cursor set
- New sound set with probably the worst selection of sounds I've ever seen
- The Asterisk sound now has a loud echoing scream in it, the Windows Change Theme sound is now a 23 second long clip of ghost noises, 3 of the events don't have any sounds assigned to them, the Misrecognition sound event is the Windows Startup sound file (the one that's a short blip))
- 34 new gadgets included
Software
- Gadgets Extended Pack
- Graveyard Party Screensaver 1.0
- Internet Download Manager
- KMSpico (KMS GUI ELDI 35.0.1.0)
Customization Utilities
- HalloDock (RocketDock 1.3.5 with Halloween icons)
- Stardock Start10 1.0 (cracked)
Notes
Bootleg quirks

- This bootleg implements a startup sound by having a VBS script play a hardcoded sound file start on logon.
