TomatoLei was an infamous bootlegger from China, who was active from 2003 to 2008. He is most notable for his bootlegged Windows XP releases which are commonly known as "Tomato Garden" or "Windows XP Tomato Edition". His releases were incredibly popular in China. They were estimated to have tens of millions of downloads.

However, he was arrested on August 15, 2008 by Chinese police for piracy, which was at the time called "the nation's biggest software piracy case". He was sentenced to three years in prison. After his release, TomatoLei retired from bootlegging entirely.

His website, tomatolei.com, is still active and now provides downloads to his custom Android ROMs.
