Windos 7 is a bootleg Windows edition created by an unknown author and added to the archive on November 30th, 2022. The OS tries, rather pathetically, to mimic Windows 7 but with an XP style (mostly by replacing the background and removing the "start" text from the start button).
Changes from Windows XP
- The Bliss wallpaper has been replaced with the Windows 7 wallpaper, albeit without the Windows logo.
- The OOBE music has been replaced with a techno song from the Newgrounds Audio Portal (Eon - Universe City).
- The "take a tour" text had "Windows XP" replaced with "Windos 7"
- The notepad icon has been changed to a low resolution Windows 7 notepad icon
- Some of the drivers have also been modified, which brings up warnings during the setup
