Windows 7 Extreme Lite is a bootleg Windows 7 Starter SP1 edition, which was created by Bob Pony. It released on January 27, 2017, and was added to the archive on August 8, 2023. It is the second smallest Windows 7 bootleg in the archive, beaten by Windows 7 SuperNano.

Description

The bootleg is a stripped down Windows 7 Starter SP1 ISO. It is unattended, and preactivated.

The ISO was made using NTLite v1.2.0.4755 on Windows 10 1607.

Notes

Bootleg quirks

  • The OS will start in the Classic theme by default.
  • You will not be able to access Aero, due to a limitation of Windows 7 Starter.

  • The computer name is set to "WIN7LITE".
  • The registered owner and organization have been set to "You" and "BobPony.org ;)".
  • The workgroup is set to "BPNETWORK".
