'''Windows Ubuntu XP''' (otherwise known as '''Windows Ubuntu Xp''') is a bootleg Windows XP SP2 edition created by an unknown authorWarezBos, released in anNovember 30th, 2007 and added to the archive on unspecifiedDecember time9th, period2021.

== Changes from Windows XPDescription ==
The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP2 ISO. As the title would suggest, the OS has been given an Ubuntu theme, particularly the Human theme of old Ubuntu, which was current at the time of this bootleg's release. Super Turbo Tango Patcher has also been applied to the OS. It is preactivated.
* The Windows 2000 setup engine is used instead of the stock one
* The keyboard layout is set to QWERTZ by default
* The company name and computername is set to "WarezHouse" and "WAREZ" respectively
* During setup, an executable runs which extracts pre-install resources
* A post-setup script will run on startup, which automatically restarts. The logon background is changed afterwards
* New icon set

On the first boot of the OS, first a command prompt window will open and will automatically install all of the software which got extracted before during the Setup, and then a UPX-compressed AutoHotKey 1.0 macro script will run that automatically moves the taskbar to the top and applies several DLL patches.

== Notes ==
* Despite startup and shutdown sounds being changed, login and logoff sounds remain stock.
* The theme included ("My Theme (nL)") does not have a background set, as such a shade of brown is used as the wallpaper.
* On the desktop, you can find a folder named "Medicina" which got extracted there which you may have saw during the first boot, and also a README.txt file, but we'll get to that in a bit. Anyways, you will find 3 items in the "Medicina" folder. They are the following:
[[Category:Unfinished articles]]
: * The first item is a keygen for an included program, ''O&O Defrag Professional'', by the scene group ZWT, and the latter two items are Firefox extensions, concerning giving the two programs the Ubuntu look and feel. One is a Ubuntu "Human" theme, the other makes the Firefox tabs look more consistent with Human's look.
: * ''Fun fact'': During O&O Defrag Professional's installation in the first boot, you are instructed how to use the keygen: in this case, you are told to kindly put in the author's name and company.
* As for ''README.txt'', it tells you how to get to the "preinstall" folder which shows you the leftover software that lies in that folder, and it also explains the "Medicina" folder and its contents like you're seeing in this Notes section right now.
* Mozilla Firefox comes with one bookmark, which goes to "http://war4all.com"
* TuneUp Utilities 2007's crack doesn't work properly, as launching TuneUp Utilities shows a "This is not a genuine version" message.
