* UXTheme, the theme engine of Windows XP, has been patched (via nLite) to allow unsigned visual styles to work, allowing the premier Mac OS theme of this OS to be experienced in all of its glory.
* Windows Mac OS XP shares many similarities to its parent mod [[Windows Extreme Seven 2009]] internally, such as leftover Extreme Seven branding in its self-extractors and graphical setup text.
* There is thumbnail cache for the OEM logo image, which differs from the final one. It is dated November 7, 2007.
* The default username has been set to "windows mac".
