The difference between the so-called "PDA" and "Webpad" versions of Windows CE 4.0 .NET included on the CD is that the PDA version was built with the (Windows or MSN whatever you want to call it) Messenger component while the Webpad version was built with the E-mail POP3 Client component instead. The image names are exactly the same in the HPC factorFactor website as well.
 
Then, there is a disclaimer for the first version that warns the user that the aforementioned version may not display correctly as the emulated display driver doesn't support the VESA standard, even though the images themselves were made in question for Virtual PC's enhanced S3 Trio64 emulation, which included special features related to VM integration.
