Windows 8.1 Panther Edition is a bootleg Windows 8.1 edition, which was created by BossKanae. It released on October 22, 2014, and was added to the archive on December 28, 2021.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 8.1 ISO. It is themed after panthers. It comes with many programs, themes and wallpapers, new icons, and system tweaks. It is unattended. It is preactivated, using KMSpico.
On the first boot of the OS, a resource patcher will automatically pop up and install all of the UI enhancements.
The ISO was made using WinReducer v1.11 and WinToolkit.
Changes from Windows 8.1
- New setup graphics. The initial setup background is now a closeup of a cat, and the initial setup window now has a background of a closeup of a panther.
- The setup background is a picture of a closeup of a panther's face. The setup window now has a red background, and a green-white gradient border has been added onto it. A picture of a panther with the text "BOSSKANAE EDITION" underneath it can be seen on the top right.
- 8 new wallpapers included. The default "img0.jpg" has been replaced.
