Windows 8 xTreme (also called: Windows 8 Pre Xtreme Edition, Windows 8 Ultimate Xtreme Edition) is a bootleg Windows 7 edition made by Skat666 released in 2009. It was once considered lost but on 3 December 2022 it was discovered in parts on Chomikuj by mv and added to the archive on the same day. Despite its name, this OS actually came out before Windows 8 was announced.
Description
The bootleg is a modified Windows 7 RTM ISO. It comes with a new theme along with 2 other ones, along with the SCSI Pass Through Direct driver on the CD. That's pretty much it. The description claims it comes with "over 200 softwares", and claims it doesn't remove anything from Windows 7, but none of the former can be seen in this mod.
Like Windows 8 Halloween Psycho, this bootleg does not have many changes, but it released a month after Windows 7 RTM did, making this mod one of the first Windows 7 bootlegs made along with Tiny7 and Windows 7 Eternity 2009 R1.
