Windows XP Zver CD is a Windows bootleg created by the ZverDVD team released on August 12th 2013.
Description
Windows XP Zver CD was a popular custom build on Windows XP that was usually installed by Russian users. The word "zver" ("зверь") is a Russian word which translates to "beast".
Changes from Windows XP
- A multi-booter featuring various utilities such as Acronis DD and other recovery tools, auto-installation and an option to boot directly to the hard disk.
- Several new themes have been added.
- Icons were replaced with Vista counterparts.
- Several new cursor themes have been added.
- The default sound scheme has been replaced with the fake "Longhorn" sound scheme that originates from a Samsung theme for Windows XP.
- The winver banner has been redesigned to look more like the Windows Vista counterpart.
- An icon named "Лучшие Игры 2013!" ("Best Games 2013!") has been added to the desktop which opens minizina.ru in the user's default browser.
- The default homepage in Internet Explorer has been changed to minizona.ru.
- Various Windows XP updates are automatically installed.
- Launching Notepad will open AkelPad instead.
