Windows XP El Shaarawy (V4) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created by Gaber Samir. It released on March 2, 2017, and was added to the archive on February 5, 2023.

This bootleg is named after the formerly alive famous Islam preacher Muhammad Metwalli al-Sha'rawi.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPacks BASE 8.12.5 integrated. It comes with many themes and wallpapers and programs. It comes with registry tweaks included.

During setup, XPlode 4.6.70227.1628 will run which will install various programs.

On the first boot of the OS, you will be greeted with a choice to configure the OS with 2 themes: the "normal" look and the "El Shaarawy" look. Then it will install all the extra components this bootleg comes with and also set the default theme depending on what look you chose. There are other differences such as in El Shaarawy look Glass SysDM will be installed, while Normal won't have it. During this process, you will also be presented a software installer in which you can pick what programs you want to install (everything is unchecked by default, you must install at least one program). Then, after 2 separate autorun removers get ran, you can proceed to the desktop.

It comes with its own boot selector, which you can choose to be displayed in English or Arabic. Through it, you can access Mini Windows XP (ripped from Hiren's Boot CD), Norton PartitionMagic Pro Server 8.05 build 1371, a CMOS resetter, Active@ Password Changer 2.1 (cracked, registered to Govinder Mudhar, gmudharblueyonder.co.uk), Symantec Ghost 11.5.1 Corporate Edition (cracked, registered to Imran I jaz of Email : imran-ijazlive.com Contact : 92-300-9555772) and Smart FDISK 2.05.

It comes with its own autorun. Through it, you can install the software that comes with this bootleg, install a cracked copy of Driver Genius 9.0 Professional, visit the author's page, and learn more about this bootleg and its creator.

It is unattended and preactivated. The bootleg was made using nLite, the autorun was made with AutoPlay Media Studio and the boot selector used was EasyBoot 5.1. The OOBE video was encoded with Windows Movie Maker 6.0.6002.18005 on 2015-01-18 20:15:28 UTC.

"Copying..." now says "Loading..." and "Extracting:" now says "Copying Files:".
A new copy of system.ini will get dropped to Windows, with new values included. Here, new variables have been added, which are named "page buffer", "load", "Download", "save" and "back". They are all set to 100,000 kilobytes per second, which is a 100MB cap. Too bad for gigabit people, I guess. Not to mention they are in the 30000enh section. On the other hand, ConservativeSwaPfileUsage is capitalized incorrectly - it's "SwapFile" not "SwaPfile".
ViGlance has been disguised as the system process svchost.exe.
There is now an "About Designer" link present in the Start menu.
The Mozilla Firefox homepage is set to "gabersamir.weebly.com".
