Windows XP Extended Edition (codename Daytona 2008) is a bootleg Windows XP SP3 edition, which was created as part of the Extended Edition series by an unknown author. It released on September 28, 2008, and was added to the archive on November 15, 2023.

Description

The bootleg is a modified Windows XP SP3 ISO, with DriverPack version 805G (May 31, 2008) integrated. It comes with a boot selector.

Through it, you can access Digiwiz MiniPE 2k8_03_07, Hiren's Boot CD 9.5, Partition Magic 8.05, Norton Ghost 8.2, Sysinternals NTFS for DOS and Memtest86+ 2.01. You can install the bootleg either with or without DriverPack drivers, along with the choice to install SATA/RAID alongside it or not.

It comes with many themes and wallpapers. it comes with its own WPI, with many programs. It comes with many updates, and registry tweaks. It is unattended, and preactivated.

The boot selector used was EasyBoot 5.0.

Changes from Windows XP SP3

Minor changes

Activecaptions and AllSnap will now run on startup.
OEM branding is included, along with Support Information.

Changes in pre-desktop procedures

The setup now uses the Windows 2000 style. The setup background is changed. A window will open, which will allow you to access Minesweeper and Solitaire.
Both the pre-OOBE and OOBE is skipped, but the OOBE video still plays.
