Windows XP 10 Anime is a bootleg Windows edition created by Moos released in 2013.
Changes from Windows XP
- The text setup OS text has been changed to the respective OS name
- The graphical Setup background is changed, almost everything (except time remaining and progress bar) has been removed. The slideshow part of the Setup is moved to a seperate section, with a new background
- The pre-OOBE's background is changed to a picture of One Piece.
- The OOBE video has been replaced with the Windows 7 startup video
- A completely new default theme with a WindowBlinds skin applied, icons and cursors and more. The start menu is styled after Windows 7
- The regional language is set to Arabic by default
- The explorer buttons bar is on the top instead of the bottom and the address bar has been moved to the right of the menu bar
- The explorer hidden files background is set to the Vista computer icon with the screen being a picture of Windows Vista
- RocketDock has been added, with the Computer icon being replaced with Naruto
Notes
- There is a folder on the Desktop full of internet shortcuts to the author's website and social networks, and a link to an autorun in which you can install some extra programs
- When you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, a Windows 7 style CAD screen shows up. The CAD simulator program used is similar to Windows The Avengers, it also has the Task Manager with the same graphics.
- The OS has a bit of an identity crisis and refers to itself by several different names - The setup, boot sequence, and ISO name refer to it as "Windows 10 Anime", while the logging on screen refers to it as "windows anime". The about box refers to it as "Windows Anime XP 2013", and the System Properties refers to it as "WINDOWS 10 Animation".
- Despite being named "Windows 10", the OS is clearly modeled after Windows 7, though this is because Windows 10 was not released (or even announced) when this OS was released.
